Happy Birthday, Baby!

Better late than never!!!! Here are some photos from Jecilyn's Birthday Party which was held at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Smyrna. The girls had a great time. Jecilyn didn't want any boys at her party--she was adamant about that one...Which was tough for me since she has had some "boyfriends" since she was little. So, we just invited the little girls from her class. It was a small party. And, it was last minute. She really wanted to have a Princess Tea at home...but since Daddy wasn't home and the remodel wasn't complete, we couldn't do that. I told her we'd do that later, and she seemed to be OK with that. And, then a week before her birthday she freaked....WHERE ARE WE GOING TO HAVE MY BIRTHDAY!?!?! It was as if she wouldn't ACTUALLY be FOUR until she had a party. (Wow, I wish that worked for me!) Thankfully, Brenda at old Medal was able to work us in! And, of course, the day before her party, she decided that she wanted the boys to come too. Oh well...Too late.

It's My Party...

I'm SO behind with all my pictures and such! I just can't seem to find enough hours in the day. And, I'm having some computer issues so that doesn't help either. My poor machine seems to have nearly run out of memory. Yikes!

Anyway, Treavor's birthday party was yesterday. It was lots of fun! As soon as I fix my memory problem (and the computer's too!), I'll post some pictures of that. AND....I also have video coverage. A first for me! I borrowed a camcorder from the base to capture the even for Jeff. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure out how to incorporate it into something fun!

The above is a picture of Treavor with his first birthday cake. We had some friends over on Friday to celebrate his "actual birthday." Despite this picture, he did enjoy the cake....and the bath afterward! More to come soon!

Happy Birthday Adrianna!

On Saturday we went to Philadelphia for my cousin's daughter's birthday party. Adrianna turned four on Sunday. Her youngest, Jasmine, was born January 2005. Our girls are all about nine months apart (in fact, I think I got pregnant with Jecilyn while Josie was in labor!). Treavor and Jasmine are 18 months apart. I always joke with Josie when we are together that they could ALL be hers. Yikes!

Here are some pictures from the party. As you'll see getting three kids under four to smile and look at the camera at the same time is quite a challenge. Getting four under four is impossible!

Happy Birthday!

This is a busy weekend for birthdays! Today is my Aunt Henny's Birthday. Henny was my mom's sister. I think she would have been 72. She passed away in 2004. Aunt Henny was the Original Drama Queen! She could turn the most mundane event into a 20 minute story that had you laughing and guessing. And, boy could she kick some ass in scrabble! I'm sure mom, Henny, and their sister Dolly have daily games "up there." Happy Birtdhday Aunt Hen!

Today is also Jecilyn friend Ben's birthday. He is 3. Jecilyn asks to play with him a lot. She wants to go to his house all of the time. Ben, lives in Paris (Lucky Ben!). His family moved just about a year ago. They've been back to visit quite often, and Jecilyn and Ben always have a great time playing together. Happy Birthday Ben! Come visit soon!

Tomorrow is my cousin Adrianna's 4th Birthday. Adrianna is Henny's granddaughter. Her mother, Josie, was due on June 15th. But, apparently she wanted HER OWN day....and waited until the 17th to arrive. We're headed up to Philadelphia for "Banna's" party today. Here's a picture of her on her birthday last year.
